All candidates interested in a child care position will be required to produce an up to date original CRB Enhanced Disclosure certificate and the original copies of their child care certificates. We are registered with Civil & Corporate Security who carry out the CRB checks on our behalf. We will personally contact their three most recent employers for references and one character referee. All of which will be sent to you to see before you make a decision to interview a candidate. Some candidates may have more than three professional references and in these cases all will be sent to you. Working closely to the brief you have given us benefits everyone concerned. We will make every effort to match your requirements as closely as possible, and will only put forward candidates that we personally feel will fit in to your household, live within easy reach and have the necessary experience and qualifications. We
will contact you with a profile of each applicant to help
you decide who you would like to meet. We can offer advice
on interview questions and the information you will need
as a future employer. This includes terms and conditions
of employment, contracts, insurance, payrolls and payroll
companies. We
recommend that if a candidate seems suitable for you
following an interview that you personally follow up each
reference before offering the position. A
one off introduction fee is charged once you have decided
to employ a candidate put forward by Upstairs Downstairs
Domestic Recruitment. No initial registration fee is
